Customers of Doha Insurance will soon be able to buy key insurance products through state-of-the-art self-service kiosks that will be installed across the country.
Doha Insurance chairman Sheikh Nawaf Nasser bin Khaled al-Thani said the company would soon launch the kiosk system named "DIC Express."
Sheikh Nawaf said the "highly convenient and user-friendly" kiosks would be placed at strategic locations across Qatar, particularly in leading shopping centres, to enable customers purchase various insurance products round-the-clock.
He said the launch of self-operated kiosks followed "huge demand" for delivery of motor insurance and other products through electronic channels.
In the first phase, customers will be able to purchase third party motor insurance through the kiosks. Subsequently, comprehensive motor insurance and other products can be purchased through the kiosks.
Doha Insurance managing director Adel Ali bin Ali expressed delight at the company's launch of DIC Express and said it was the first among many new innovative projects in the pipeline to boost customer service.
